Japanese Box has masses of lush, small, bright-green oval leaves on a compact dense shrub.
Usage
- An excellent choice for hedges, borders and general garden planting.
- Japanese Box loves a clip, and they can be made into many decorative shapes for pots or the garden and topiary.
- Plant 40-50cm apart for low hedging/borders and about 80cm-1m apart for a taller hedge.
Comments
- Plant in well-drained soil.
- Prefers a sunny to partly shaded position but will handle a shaded spot.
- Mulch well and fertilise with Seasol and organic food each spring and autumn.
