Emerald Gardens Nursery is a family-owned plant farm in Emerald in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges. We grow an extensive range of trees and shrubs on our property. We offer design advice for new and established gardens and have over 35 years of experience in the industry. Let one of our friendly horticulturists know your plans for your garden, and we’ll make recommendations and help you find the plants you need. We’ll also provide helpful advice on when to plant certain varieties and what conditions they require.
Animal Sanctuary
Emerald Gardens Nursery has a self-funded animal sanctuary with around 50 rescued animals, including cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, horses, roosters, ducks, dogs, cats and guinea pigs. They also help with volunteering and raising wildlife with a wildlife shelter and have some wildlife release sites on their property. The Emerald Gardens Nursery family believes in trying to create a better world for animals.
The director (Leah) also volunteers (and donates) for numerous other animal protection and rescue organisations and is a director on the board of the Animal Justice Foundation. Their ethical business model means they give back to those who need it and sell ethical products that will help the planet and wildlife.
